One day we drove out to Red Rocks and had a picnic in the ampitheatre. The girls had a lot of fun climbing up and down on the seats. I enjoyed walking through the visitors center and learning the history of Red Rocks and seeing all the musical acts that have played there.

Box Tops for Education
I am the "Cash for Trash" coordinator at the local elementary, J.L. Mudd. This is the elementary that Kathryn will attend starting in August for full-day Kindergarten. This is my current contest board. Each class earns a flower petal for every 10 Box Tops they collect. It's a fun way to have the classes compete for an extra recess.

11 weeks old
Sydney entertaining Reagan. I know I'm not a baby, but I don't really enjoy when a rattle is shaken 2 inches from my face. Guess she does!
Her cute little onsie says, "I love Mommy" in pink glittery letters!

Kathryn's expecting
She made me laugh out loud when she came in like this! I had her do the classic maternity pose and she hammed it up!
Here's the reveal! Not really a baby! I told her that being pregnant isn't really that comfortable and it's really hard to bend over, etc. So she proceeded to bend over and squish her ball baby and then did a belly flop on the ground.
Caught in the act! Putting pennies on her sister's head! I guess she could have been putting them in worse places.

10 weeks old
Reagan is 10 weeks old today! She is such a sweet and good baby. As we speak she is asleep in her crib! I tried to catch some of her smiles today.
Look! She's waving! Oh, that's a good one. It's hard to try to get her to smile and to hope I'm aiming the camera at her face!
Can you guess who put the pennies on her head? I love the look on her face!

Any ideas?
I found this at Grace's (my favorite local consignment store) this morning. Any ideas of what I could do with it? I was thinking I could put sheet metal on the back and make it a magnetic board like this. I'd love to hear what you think!
Reagan's 2 month checkup
Reagan had her 2 month check up today. She has gained 4 pounds since birth and grown 2 1/2 inches! She now weighs 10 pounds 1.5 ounces, and is 21 3/4 inches long. Dr. Myers said she looks great and has good control of her head. She got 2 shots today and got so mad she turned purple! But only for a second, then she recovered.
Sunday, February 14th
Sydney gave her first talk in Primary today. Her topic was "Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer". She talked about how we can be forgiven for our sins (bad choices) because of the atonement. She chose Mike to help her with her talk and she did very well. Kathryn kept turning around to me and saying, "She's doing such a good job Mom! Sydney's doing it!" She possibly remembers her first talk when she wouldn't actually speak and I gave her talk for her. (I took this picture after church, so as not to look like one of "those mothers".)
Reagan cuddled up watching the Olympics. Isn't that flannel pretty? I love it.Sunday, February 14, 2010
