Cruisin'

The evening of Memorial Day, we took the girls out to a parking lot to ride their bikes. Sydney is getting good at her 'tricks', and Kathryn is getting good at really riding...with no training wheels! Now we just need to get her on her bigger bike!

The end of a good day!

After our super busy Saturday, we spent the evening at the Blakemore's house. This is what happened on the 5 minute drive home.

Super Fun Saturday

May 29th - On Saturday we went on a downtown adventure! We started at Soulard Farmer's Market. We enjoyed fresh-squeezed lemonade and snowcones. I also bought some fun new spices at a spice shop there. After that we went to City Garden, in downtown St. Louis and let the girls play in the water fountains. After a quick drive-by look at the Arch, we had lunch at Fuddruckers! It was a great day, especially since Mike got to spend it with us!

Summer Days

May 28th - Such a fun summer day! My friend Lea and I sat in my garage almost all day and our kids just played and played. They drew with chalk, blew up balloons, blew bubbles, and played dress up.

Jumperoo!

May 26th - Reagan hanging in her Jumperoo wearing a cute new outfit from Grandma Dean. Unfortunately, the only place we have to hang her on the first floor is in the bathroom!

Camping Trip!

This past weekend we went camping at Table Rock Lake near Branson. We met Mike's dad, Harry, and his wife, Corrie, there. We had fun sitting around the campfire, playing games and looking around the lake. We fished a little and visited a fish hatchery. We stayed at the Army Corps of Engineers camp on the lake and highly recommend it!

Here is Mike with our camper. Mike's dad bought it brand new in 1986 and Mike camped in it all growing up. Now it has been passed to us and we are so excited to be using it! The girls love to be in it and go in and out the door. The water lines aren't working, so Mike hopes to be able to get those back up and running.

"What I Want To Be" Preschool Week

This week Sydney has been learning about different professions.
Tuesday they talked to a Police Officer. Thursday, the fire truck came for a visit. (That's what they're looking at below.)

They also got to ride a school bus! This was Sydney's first time. The girls in between them are sweet friends from church.

The big girls lately...

have been watching YouTube. They like to watch clips of Signing Time, Lazy Town, and anything with babies in it.

Sydney has been sitting in the high chair. I'm not going to tell her, but I love it when she does, because she can't get out, she can't turn around in her seat, and she doesn't make as big of a mess!!!

The girls before Sydney's preschool one day. They said the sun was too bright, and I believe them. Can you see Sydney's shoes? She just doesn't care at all. She would be barefoot all the time if she could.
