We are going camping over the Easter weekend, so I had my girls wear their matching dresses today. They looked so beautiful! Kathryn and Reagan only stayed for Sacrament meeting, and then Mike took them home so Kathryn wouldn't share her germs. Sydney and I stayed, and I enjoyed a baby-free second and third hour!

Strep Throat
Kathryn's eye was bothering her on Thursday and she wasn't feeling great, so we thought she might have pink-eye. I made an appointment for her on Friday and took her in early in the morning. It turns out, she has STREP! Yuck. He said the eye irritation might have just been some seasonal allergies. So, she stayed home on Friday and, sadly, missed the picnic on the moon that they were having at school. But, as evidenced by the picture below, she got some much needed rest!
Make Believe Theatre
Sydney is attending a Fun with Fables class at Make Believe Theatre. She is one of only two girls in the class, but they love the undivided attention! They are learning two plays, one about frogs, and one about The City Mouse and the Country Mouse. Sydney is the City Mouse. She gets to sing and say lines that her teacher, Caelyn helps her with.
Spring Soccer (aka Soggy Soccer)
The girls are playing soccer this spring through the city. They have
played 2 games and they have both scored! Kathryn is one of the
oldest on the team, so she feels like a leader. Sydney is just happy
to be playing with her friend Lily and gives her frequent
hugs...during the game.

The Cutest Girl...That You Ever Did See...
On Sunday, between session of General Conference, we took a walk to get some much-needed fresh air. It was warm and windy, with temps in the 80s! The rest of us looked pretty shabby, but I couldn't resist taking some pics of this adorable little girl!
St. Charles County Mayors' Charity Ball
On Saturday evening we attended the St. Charles County Mayors' Charity Ball. We were invited by our friends Todd and Natalie Blakemore. They run a not-for-profit called Unlimited Play that helps communities build accessible playgrounds. UP is a beneficiary of the 2011 Charity Ball.
It seems kind of gross to me to see my bare feet on that escalator. My feet were screaming to get out of my shoes, so at the time, I didn't really care!
Soccer Girls
The girls played their first soccer game this past Saturday. They are the Royal Blues this year. Sydney scored a goal and Kathryn had an assist to her friend Ellie Tilton for a goal! Their favorite part is still the snack at the end of the game, but hopefully they're learning skills and teamwork, and getting some exersize!

Cousins!
Funtastic Fun in Denver!
After Iowa we drove to Denver, CO, to visit our Nonnie and my sister, Dee, and her family. One day Nonnie took us to Fantastic Fun! It's an indoor amusement park with a flat fee, so you can ride any of the rides as many times as you want! We all had a really fun time. We rode the hot air balloon ferris wheel, the whip (the girl's favorite ride), the tea cups (Nonnie almost got sick from spinning!), the train, they jumped in the bouncy house and the ball pit, they climbed on a giant teddy bear, and slid down a slide. We took a lunch break at Sonic in the middle of the day, then returned for some more fun! Reagan was able to ride everything and I think her favorite ride was the whip too! She also loved the ball pit and didn't want to get out
Iowa Friends!
To start our Spring Break, we drove to Iowa to visit our dear friends! They live in a super small town called State Center, which is...wait for it...smack dab in the middle of the state! The girls had fun playing with their friends and I had fun hanging out with my girlfriend! It was SUPER windy while we were there, so we stayed cozy inside.
We also did this fun craft project while we were together. It's made from a wreath form and coffee filters!
Diego's Meatball Mountain Range
We found a Dora and Diego cookbook at the library and the girls have been excited to make lots of the recipes. Our first recipe was Diego's Meatball Mountain Range. Kathryn helped me make the meatballs, then we made spaghetti and assembled it all to look like a mountain. Then the girls both helped me place the broccoli around to be the trees!
Even Reagan enjoyed it! Or she just liked the feeling of rubbing it on her entire face!
