Tyler 3 1/2 months

Oh, I love when he sticks his little pointy tongue out like this!

Hanging out with Reagan while Kathryn is in gymnastics.

With Nonnie!

The Last Hurrah of Summer 2012

The day before school started, I took the girls to the zoo.

We visited the new attraction, Sea Lion Sound.  It has a fun underwater viewing area that is beautiful.

We also made a Build-A-Bear for Tyler.  The girls chose a sea lion and we named him Louis.

Open House and First Day of School

Sydney with Gia and Erin.  They were in Miss Reside's class together last year and are in class together again this year!

Sydney with her First grade teacher, Miss Kara Welty.  Her room is decorated in leopard print.

Kathryn with Mrs. Robin McCormick and Ms. Whitney Andrews.  Ms. Andrews will teach her class until Mrs. McCormick returns from maternity leave in November.

The whole family on the first day of school, August 15th.

To celebrate their first day, I made them these delicious, gigantic, M&M cookies!

Kathryn's Ear Piercing

After seeing Sydney get her ears pierced, Kathryn really wanted to get hers done as well.  We were going to have her wait until her birthday, but decided to let her get them done before school started on August 15th.  She was all business and enjoyed the experience!

They leave it up to the parent to make sure they're straight, so I was making extra sure that they looked even.

11 Weeks Old

This boy has THE CUTEST faces!  Such expression!

I attempted to take his picture in his tie that I made him.  I think the knot is too big, or his neck/head is too small!

Cute bowtie!

10 Weeks Old

Tyler is 10 weeks old!

We've been watching a lot of Olympics!

Kathryn & I volunteered for Saturday Jubilee.  This is an annual event benefitting local food pantries.  We hand out flyers to customers coming in to the store, and ask that they consider purchasing a few items to donate.  One man donated this whole cart full of cereal! This was our third year to participate and I am always surprised at the people who are willing to give and those that are not.

What Tyler does when you blow in his face!

Sydney's Fancy Nancy Camp

Sydney attended Fancy Nancy camp at STAGES St. Louis.  They learned a song from West Side Story (I Feel Pretty) and South Pacific (Dites Moi Pourquoi).  They also performed a play at the end of the week.  Sydney is our bright shiny star.  She loves acting and performing.

This is the courtyard where they ate their snack each day.  Her camp was in Chesterfield (about a 30 minute drive) and only 3 hours long, so I drove down each day and stayed in the area.  I had a few sweet friends watch Kathryn & Reagan for 3 of the 5 days so that they wouldn't have to hang around with me.
