Aunt T!

This is our Aunt T. Her name is Thalia, but we call her Aunt T. Mike used to work for her husband at Boeing, and we have remained friends since he switched programs. Both she and Jim are so loving to our family. We're glad to have them close to us! She met Kathryn when she was a year old, and has met the other girls soon after their births. The girls love visiting her as she always loves them and often has treats for them.

O Canada!

While I was in Colorado, Mike was skiing in Vancouver, Canada. He brought back these fun sussies for me!

Some of my projects...

I planted Hyacinth bulbs in November and they started coming up while I was in Colorado!

I borrowed my mom's wheat grinder and made bread!

I excitedly watched my bulbs grow and bloom! They smell wonderful!

I made a new wreath for our front door.

The Drive Home

I drove home from Colorado by myself (my mom had flown to MO to drive to CO with me) on Wednesday. It took us 13 1/2 hours. It wasn't bad despite my face in the second pic. We left at 7 am. I had to stop a couple of times and let Sydney pee in a diaper so I didn't have to take everyone inside somewhere. We finally stopped for lunch in Topeka. I pumped and had the girls feed Reagan in the back seat, then I would stop to burp her. The car was a wreck by the time we got home, but we made it safe and sound. We had a happy family reunion and all cried because we were so happy to see our Daddy!

First Tree Climb

This was the first time either girl had climbed a tree! We found this park that had these cute trees perfect for climbing. They thought it was the best thing ever!

16th Street Mall

After the parade we rode the free bus down th 16th Street Mall and had lunch at Subway (Kathryn's choice). Then we happened upon another bagpipe performance, and then rode in a pedi-cab back to our car.

Denver Saint Patrick's Day Parade

On Saturday, we headed downtown to watch the Saint Patrick's Day parade. I had no idea it would be so crowded, but we lucked out and found a parking garage about 3 blocks from the parade route. When we first got there, the crowd was so deep that I didn't think we could push our way through, so I did this:

It actually wasn't that bad, but I only lasted about 5 minutes. We just wormed our way to the front and sat down and had a pretty good view.

We heard lots of bagpipes!

And saw lots of girls doing jigs.

Sydney looking sad because she had just crashed into Madeline after running full speed down a steep ramp when I had just specifically told her to stop running or she was going to hurt herself or someone else!

I love this picture because it's her normal face which we don't usually get for the camera. Even if it is only 3/4 of her face!

Red Rocks

One day we drove out to Red Rocks and had a picnic in the ampitheatre. The girls had a lot of fun climbing up and down on the seats. I enjoyed walking through the visitors center and learning the history of Red Rocks and seeing all the musical acts that have played there.

Denver Children's Museum

While visiting my mom and sister in Denver, we took a trip to the Denver Children's Museum.
