Reagan is 4 months old!

Here she is being weighed at her 4 month check up. She actually weighed 14 lbs. 3.5 oz. I must have taken the pic when she was wiggling.

She is bringing her hands together a lot and sucking on them. She also likes holding this toy and bringing it to her mouth. She's not really reaching for things, but if they hit her hand, she'll bat around until she can get a hold of it.

Not sure why she looks sad...maybe it's just a relaxed face. We were enjoying the beautiful weather!

Kathryn in action...sort of

Getting pumped up for the game! GOOOOOOOOOOOOO Owls! (Owls, seriously? That's what the kids picked. So far, we've played the dragons, the lightning, and the black panthers (really?).)

She has stopped biting her nails for the entire game, so that's an improvement! We still have to teach her how to go and get the ball, even if the other team is about to kick it!

No babies were harmed during the making of these videos!

Soccer Girl

Kathryn is playing soccer this spring. One of her best friends, Ellie, is on her team. She's really good at stopping the ball and has fun at practice. She hasn't played a real game yet, but hopefully if she's feeling up to it (she's been a little sick) she will play her first one this Saturday!

Soccer Fans

The rest of us are soccer fans. Here is a happy Reagan sitting in her car seat at soccer practice.

This is Sydney with her friend Lilly. Lilly's big sister is Ellie (read previous post). Sydney & Lilly have fun playing together and running around the soccer fields. They also attend preschool together.

Here is a picture of Reagan in her blessing dress. It's a picture of a picture, but you get the idea. The first ones we took (that were a couple of days before her blessing) didn't turn out well, so I had these taken a few weeks later.

Easter Fun!

We watched General Conference for the majority of Easter weekend. We dyed eggs during the first Saturday session of conference.

On Sunday we woke up, the girls opened their baskets, and we ate a yummy breakfast casserole. Then we watched the first Sunday session of conference. We had a nice Easter lunch with our friends and all of our kids hunted eggs together. And we all ate too much candy!

Ready for Spring!

It has gotten warm very quickly here! Here are the girls in some cooler clothes. There is definately more skin showing than we've been used to in the last couple of months!

Aunt T!

This is our Aunt T. Her name is Thalia, but we call her Aunt T. Mike used to work for her husband at Boeing, and we have remained friends since he switched programs. Both she and Jim are so loving to our family. We're glad to have them close to us! She met Kathryn when she was a year old, and has met the other girls soon after their births. The girls love visiting her as she always loves them and often has treats for them.

O Canada!

While I was in Colorado, Mike was skiing in Vancouver, Canada. He brought back these fun sussies for me!

Some of my projects...

I planted Hyacinth bulbs in November and they started coming up while I was in Colorado!

I borrowed my mom's wheat grinder and made bread!

I excitedly watched my bulbs grow and bloom! They smell wonderful!

I made a new wreath for our front door.

The Drive Home

I drove home from Colorado by myself (my mom had flown to MO to drive to CO with me) on Wednesday. It took us 13 1/2 hours. It wasn't bad despite my face in the second pic. We left at 7 am. I had to stop a couple of times and let Sydney pee in a diaper so I didn't have to take everyone inside somewhere. We finally stopped for lunch in Topeka. I pumped and had the girls feed Reagan in the back seat, then I would stop to burp her. The car was a wreck by the time we got home, but we made it safe and sound. We had a happy family reunion and all cried because we were so happy to see our Daddy!
