Ozark Folk Center

On Friday we went to the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. When we left our hotel it was raining and lightening. We went anyway, hoping that it would clear up (it eventually did). We had quite a lightning show on the 45-minute drive. Some of the unfortunate things that happened while we were there: Mike watched a woman split her thumb with a hatchet, Sydney fell down and skinned knees, elbow, & hands, and Kathryn got stung by a wasp! Despite all of those things, we had a pretty good time. They have all of these little houses that display people making different crafts such as: brooms, soap, candles (my favorite), dolls, woodworking, quilts, and much, much more. bla

Kathryn loved the school house and we visited it twice.

The girls playing with clay at the pottery house.

The girls eating their ice cream that Aunt Kelly bought them.

Arkansas! Beautiful...you always take great trips. I will have to get with your travel agent. David will be in Missouri (Columbus) in October. He will apply there and Arkansas...both look beautiful. Thanks for the insight!

How fun (minus all the accidents).

Did you drive in the rain or did Mike? :) Just wondering.

Kathryn is losing her straps!

Ok- I just looked at the rest of you trip posts. Those fish are SCARY! I can't believe the girls wanted to get that close to them. It sounds like they are a couple of brave little girls ready for any adventure.

Those bum pictures in their swimsuits are cute.

Cool about the planes. How did the girls react to that?
